Subscription Steps (Start to Finish)

Follow these steps to start monitoring your receipt numbers and unlock AI predictive timelines (where supported).

Step 1: Register
Register via Web or Telegram. Add your name, email and/or phone for notifications.
Step 2: Add Receipts
Add one or more USCIS receipt numbers (format validated). Avoid duplicates.
Step 3: Subscribe
Choose a plan and complete payment. Your subscription activates monitoring.
Step 4: Get Alerts
Receive notifications when your case changes. Use AI timelines to see predicted next steps.
Telegram registration
Your Telegram Chat ID is your unique identifier. Alerts can be delivered via Telegram (and optionally Email/SMS).
Web registration (no Telegram)
SmartCase generates a Virtual Telegram ID so your account can be tracked consistently in the database. Notifications are delivered via Email and/or SMS.

What counts as an update?
Any change in USCIS case status text or status history (examples):
  • Case Was Received
  • Biometrics Appointment Scheduled
  • Request for Evidence (RFE) Was Sent
  • Case Was Approved / Denied

Delivery speed
Telegram is typically fastest. Email/SMS speed depends on provider and carrier routing. If you miss a notification, check spam/junk folders for email and confirm phone format for SMS.
Data tracking
We store minimal details needed to map receipts to your account and deliver notifications. Do not upload sensitive documents through chat fields.
Duplicate rules (important)
SmartCase blocks duplicates to protect users and keep monitoring accurate:
  • Duplicate Receipt: The same receipt number cannot be added twice (even by mistake).
  • Duplicate Email: The same email cannot be used across multiple accounts.
  • Duplicate Phone: The same phone number cannot be used across multiple accounts.
If you see a “duplicate” message, use a different value or recover access to the existing account that already owns it.

SmartCase AI uses historical case patterns to estimate your likely next step timing and final completion estimate. This is designed to provide clarity—not legal advice.

What you will see
Timeline view, estimated days to next step, and an estimated final date (where supported). Predictions may remain stable until a meaningful input changes (status, center, time thresholds, etc.).
Factors used
Form type, current case status, service center/processing location, and days since submission. (Other engineered features may apply depending on form/model.)

Duplicate Receipt Number
  • Make sure the receipt is not already saved under your account.
  • Check for copy/paste extra spaces.
  • If it belongs to another account, remove it there or contact support to verify ownership.
Email already taken
  • Use a different email, or recover access to the existing account.
  • Check spam/junk folder for verification messages.
  • Ensure there are no typos (e.g., gmail.com vs gmal.com).
Phone already taken
  • Use a different phone number, or recover access to the existing account.
  • Enter phone in a consistent format (prefer E.164: +1XXXXXXXXXX).
  • SMS delivery depends on carrier support and routing.
Telegram not receiving alerts
  • Open Telegram and start the bot chat (user must initiate).
  • Make sure you did not block the bot.
  • Confirm your account is linked to the correct chat ID.

It means AI4OPS uses an approved integration path to request receipt status data via API, enabling automated monitoring and timely alerts 24×7. This reduces manual refresh and improves consistency for update checks.

SmartCase supports common receipt prefixes used by USCIS, including: IOE, EAC, WAC, LIN, SRC, MSC, NBC, YSC, TSC, NSC, CSC. If your receipt is rejected, verify the prefix and digits count.

Predictions are estimates based on historical trends and your current case attributes.

Subscriptions are flexible. You can add more USCIS receipt numbers over time based on your active plan and account status. If you need to track additional receipts, you can add them in your dashboard (and upgrade your plan if required).
You may terminate the service at any time. Canceling stops future billing and ends monitoring/notifications after your subscription period ends (unless your plan provides immediate cancellation behavior).
